About the University of St. Thomas
The
University of St. Thomas (UST) is
accredited by TEAC, the Teacher
Education Accreditation Council.
Qualifications
Students must hold a baccalaureate
degree and may not schedule more than 9
semester credits for fall and
winter/spring semesters or 12 semester
credits for summer semester.

registration.
Registration Confirmations
Confirmations are sent via e-mail to
each person who registers.
Tax Receipts
Tax receipts are available from
Continuing Ed. Options, LLC. Payment
information is on your confirmation. Your cancelled check can be used, as
well.
Do not request a receipt from the
University of St. Thomas.
Grade Reports and Transcript Requests
Students will receive a grade report 4
weeks upon the completion of the course.
DO NOT request a transcript from
UST until you have received the grade
report in the mail. Upon receipt of the
grade report, students may contact the
registrar to order an official
transcript. If multiple courses have
been taken during a semester, students
must wait until they have
received all grade reports before
requesting a complete transcript. UST
will not
hold early transcript requests. All
transcript requests are processed within
1-2 business days.

Audit
Continuing Education courses are not
eligible for audit through the
University of St. Thomas. Continuing Ed.
Options, LLC will issue a completion
form to be used for license renewal
hours. Get permission from your school
district and/or the Department of
Children, Family and Learning at (651)
582-8691 to audit a class from
Continuing Ed. Options, LLC
Credit Value
Graduate credits earned through
continuing education meet requirements
for license renewal and may be used for
lane changes when prior approval has
been obtained by the student from
his/her district or employment personnel
office.
1 graduate semester credit is
equivalent to:
1.5 graduate quarter credit
15 contact hours
24 clock hours
Transfer Policy
Any student seeking to transfer
continuing education graduate credits
into a graduate program at an
institution, including UST, is advised
to obtain prior approval from the
academic adviser and dean at that
institution.
